Construction: Units are fan type and utilize the down flow principle of
heated air delivery. Designed for recessed mounting within standard 16
stud centers and wall thickness. Ruggedly constructed of 20 gauge sheet
metal.
Heating Grid: The cast aluminum heating grid contains a nickel chromium
resistance wire which is insulated in magnesium oxide and sheathed in a
protective tubular stainless steel sheath. The entire tube is completely
cast into an aluminum molded form, deeply embedded and completely safe.
The finned design increases the heat radiating surface of the grid,
giving wider distribution of heat at a safer, lower temperature than the
heating element of any other wall heater made.
Controls: A precision snap action hydraulic action thermostat is
provided for positive temperature control when the two button switch the
ON position. The hydraulic capillary sensing element is in the room air
inlet air stream to provide accurate temperature control. The thermostat
ranges from 40F (low) to 100F (high).
