To achieve high
combustion efficiency and deliver savings of over 35% in heating costs over
conventional forced air or hydronic systems, the Infrasave IRB Infra-Red Tube
Heater couples a patented ceramic burner head with a powerful direct drive
blower located in line behind the burner. This system ensures proper gas-air
mixture for optimum combustion efficiency and a long narrow flame, which is
ideal for tube firing.
The power burner forces
heat down a heavy steel tube with special emissive coating on the outside, which
in turn radiates high efficiency infra-red energy. The unique Infrasave Focus
Shield Reflectors mounted over the tube direct the infra-red rays, like the rays
of the sun, to the floor and the people below.
Depending on burner
ratings, the technique provides low intensity radiant heat over a variety of
tube lengths and configurations.

Standard infra-red
tube heaters produce a 2' to 3' flame.
Infrasave infrared tube heaters
produce a 14' flame. As a result Infrasave infra-red tube heaters deliver more
even heat and are far more energy efficient than competing products. The flame
shown above is produced by a Irfrasave IRB 155 (155,000 BTU).
Features
That Make The IRB a Performance Leader
Flexible
layout

|
A sample
layout of an IRB series tube heater system assembled from 10 ft.
lenghts, U-shapes and 90o bends.
A- Flue vent through wall or roof
B- Flue vent through common TEE
C- Optional combustion air intake from outside
|
Can be readily
assembled to suit any business shape and meet almost any heating requirements
with nine different BTU sizes up to 200,000 BTU for either natural or propane
gas.
If it is found during
installation that it is desirable to bring in combustion air from the outside
of the building, this can be accommodated at the site with standard parts
supplied. No optional parts need to be ordered.
Tube lengths range
from 10 ft. to 70 ft. and come in 10 ft. lengths with quick mount couplers for
rapid assembly right out of the carton.
The system can be
installed in straight form, U-shape with 180 degrees bend or with one or two
90 degrees bends.
Installation can be
done in a vented or unvented mode. Flue venting is possible through side walls
or the roof of the building, individually or through a common TEE.
Focus
Shield Reflectors

This is another exclusive feature that is used to reduce the angle of dispersion of
the infra-red rays and to concentrate rays to specific floor and work areas.
Reflectors can be
positioned at settings ranging from horizontal to 45 degrees for highly
focused heat delivery.
They have a large
surface area and protrude well below the tube to enclose convection heat
around the tube in order to increase infra-red efficiency.
Closed
reflector ends

Closed ends stop
convection heat escaping through the ends of the reflector and ensure
reflector placement and stability.
Instant
service access

There are no panels
or doors to remove for service access.
The fold-away housing
opens to expose all the controls and the burner for easy servicing.
The burner can be
serviced from the end or the bottom.
Contaminated
air is no problem!
A standard collar on
the blower inlet permits the attachment of a combustion air inlet duct from
any direction allowing the heater to operate using fresh outside air only.
This makes the unit ideal for use in contaminated atmospheres.
Best
warranty in the industry
It is covered by a
replacement parts warranty that is unique in the industry: ten years on the
burner assembly and tubes; two years on all other parts.
